Maltese Courses
Bonġu! Titkellem bil-Malti? - Hello! Do you speak Maltese?
Discover the language of the island you call home. This introduction to Maltese is designed for expats and foreigners
living in Malta who want to connect more deeply with local life — through words, culture, and everyday
conversations.
Maltese for Beginners (A1.1)
A communication-based course for complete beginners. From your very first lesson, you'll start speaking — learning to greet, introduce yourself, order at a café, and navigate the island with confidence.
We also explore what makes Maltese unique: a Semitic language written in a Latin script, shaped over centuries by Arabic, Sicilian and Italian, Norman French, and English. Once you understand its logic, pronunciation is far more approachable than it looks on the page.
Alongside the language, we dip into Maltese traditions, feast days, and local customs — so the rhythms of island life begin to make sense in a richer way.

Who is this course for?
Anyone living in Malta who wants to feel more at home on the island. You don't need to become fluent — you just need a place to start. This course gives you that, along with the confidence that Maltese isn't as daunting as it first appears.
Because the best way to feel at home somewhere is to speak a little of its language.
